The Connect-With-A-Family Program

The Connect-With-A-Family program provides an opportunity for you, especially parents, to connect with military Moms and Dads who have stayed home taking care of their families while their spouses are away serving our country, or with military families caring for their wounded warriors.

In collaboration with Fisher House, Inc., a non-profit organization committed to serving the families of wounded soldiers, we have been able to connect with military families caring for their wounded loved ones in military hospitals. We thank Fisher House, Boston, MA; Brooke Army Medical Center Fisher House, San Antonio, TX; and Fisher House, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, TX for assisting in making these connections. Our efforts continue.

It is incredibly refreshing and uplifting when a military family member hears from fellow citizens (and residents) with words of encouragement and support. It is equally refreshing when a miltary family receives a special gift of appreciation along with words of gratitude from many of us who are not on the front lines of the kind of service that they have committed to - for our country. How It Works

	First - Purchase one, or more, of the 9/11 10th Year Anniversary Medallion Edition (Gift Edition) collector artwork. This specially commissioned artwork commemorates the 10th year anniversary of 9/11 with the words - "Never Forget. Stay Vigilant. Remain United." With your order you may provide a personal word of support to a military family as you want it to appear on a personalized card.
	Second - For each item you order we will match with one of our own. Your order will be shipped to you and the matched item(s) will be held for subsequent donation to a military family in your name.
	Third - We will send you a thank you note and, only at your request, publish your name on an acknowledgement page on this website.
	Fourth - At designated times, beginning sometime in November 2011 (Military Family Appreciation Month) and in coordination with select military bases (where possible), military families and specific military support non-profit organizations across the U.S., we will present or distribute the matching 9/11 10th Year Anniversary Medallion to military families. A thank you card with your name and message will accompany each gift.
